Our Foundation, Intermediate & Senior Phase is based on a Neurodiverse approach and embraces diversity in cognitive profiles as a valuable asset and cultivates an enriching atmosphere where each student can thrive socially, emotionally and academically.

Radix James Remedial School offers the following grades/classes:
Supporting higher-needs learners with autism, focusing on functional skills development.
Holistic learning for Grades 4–6, combining academic, social, emotional, and physical support.
Grades 7-10 is a space dedicated to focused academic growth and the continued development of each learner’s potential.
Accommodate learners who experience boundaries to learning as well as learners who fall lower on the neurodiverse spectrum.
At Radix James, we follow the national CAPS curriculum, but deliver it in a way that places your child’s unique needs and interests at the heart of their learning experience. Our approach is designed to promote both academic success and personal development.
We use a variety of teaching methods tailored to enhance each child’s scholastic performance while encouraging intellectual curiosity and emotional growth. Our school caters for learners from Grade R to Grade 9.
Classes are intentionally kept small — with a maximum of 10 students — to strike the right balance between social interaction and personalised, one-on-one attention. This setting allows us to nurture each child’s potential in a supportive and focused environment.
Radix James places strong emphasis on both academic and emotional support. Our remedial approach is designed to assist learners with barriers to learning by offering individualised attention and targeted resources. Every child is encouraged to progress at their own pace, without the risk of falling behind.

Our Homework Centre provides a quiet, focused environment where learners receive specialised tuition across various subjects, access helpful resources, and develop strong study skills. It’s also a space for project research and academic support tailored to your child’s needs. Open during term time: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 5:00pm. Holiday sessions can be arranged on request.
Radix James's aftercare caters not only for our own students, but it is also open to the public. This is a time well-balanced environment for students to do their homework (facilitated by one of our teachers), be closely looked after and feel safe while parents are still at work.
