Supporting Growth Through Individualised Learning

Our Developmental Unit caters for Neurodivergent individuals ranging in cognitive abilities. These classes are intentionally kept very small, and in some cases, an additional facilitator is brought in to support the individual needs of the learners.

Curriculum Overview

Smaller class sizes allow for a more focused approach

Smaller class sizes allow for a more focused approach to both academic progress and general knowledge development, while also creating space for social growth. Social interaction plays a vital role in a child’s development, and we are proud to witness the progress our learners make as they begin to engage with their peers.

Tailored Techniques for Individual Learning Needs

A range of teaching methodologies and techniques are used to strengthen visual, auditory, and motor perceptual skills. These are applied in both group and individualised settings, at a pace that matches each learner’s needs. Every child in the Developmental Class has their own learning style and temperament, and we take care to tune into these differences—adapting our approach to suit their strengths, support their challenges, and promote meaningful growth.

Our aim is to maintain a respectful, caring, and balanced learning environment where each child is treated with dignity, compassion, and equal concern.
